A Review Of The iPhone 11

The iPhone 11 lineup consists of an iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro max, which are the successors to the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max, respectively. As expected, this new lineup comes with updated specs and features.

In this article, we are going to talk about the entry-level iPhone 11, which is available at $699. With other manufacturers launching more expensive phones in the market, it’s nice to see an iPhone with a smaller price tag, although it’s not that small for most of the phone users.

The iPhone 11 comes with the better camera setup, Night Mode, and Deep Fusion. That said, this phone, apart from the processing power boost, focuses heavily on giving better camera performance. Other updates related to the software and apps make the phone more optimized, but that’s not usually a focal point.

It may be worth mentioning here that the iPhone 11 is the same as iPhone 11 Pro by 85%. Both have the same, A13 Bionic, processor chipset, and most of the internal specs are also similar. If you want a telephoto lens, a different size option, or a better screen, you can consider purchasing an iPhone 11 Pro, which costs 30% more than the iPhone 11. That’s not to say that the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are not the great phones. Indeed, they are remarkable premium handsets, but if you think that you are better off without a telephoto lens and an OLED screen, the iPhone 11 is the best choice.

64GB internal storage

The 64GB internal storage might seem a bit meager, considering there is no Micro SD slot. However, this storage should be enough to store most of your files, including a bulk of high-resolution photos and a selected amount of videos. If you want a phone with enhanced storage, you are going to have to spend a total of $749 to get the 128GB model. If you wish to go a bit further than that, you can pay an additional amount of $849 for a 256GB model. 64GB of internal storage should be enough if you do not want to shoot a lot of videos.

Cameras

Apple has earned a reputation of being the best camera phone manufacturer lately thanks to its tradition of using the remarkable combo of the industry-best camera hardware and highly optimized software in its phones. The addition of a new ultra-wide lens on the rear gives the phone more versatility in terms of picturing taking options. This addition has increased the number of cameras in the iPhone 11 to two from its predecessor, the iPhone XR. Similarly, the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro come with a triple-camera setup each, while their predecessors, the iPhone XS and XS Max, respectively, had a dual-camera system on both of them.

Other features of the iPhone 11 camera system include Night Mode for low-light photography and Deep Fusion for the indoor shots. A faster autofocus system, overall sharper photos, and more accurate colors make the iPhone 11 a mini DSLR.
